These two women were what saved Castlevania and made it what it is. Ayami Kojima was the best artist for the job, her art style suited Castlevania the best and pwns the Death Note Manga-ka by miles of awesomeness. Ayumi's gothic style was the best I've ever seen and gave the games it's eerie creepy awesomeness. Not that they got rid of her, I won't be surprise of Castlevania starts to die...I just hope they bring her back and make sure to keep Michiru. Both woman are the meaning of EPIC WIN.

i love her art style...it's like something you'll see in stain glass paintings once you walk into a castle or a huge cathedral [i think that's what she was aiming for...hence "castlevania"] and the series have the best bg music hands down!

I miss this artwork so badly.
It really gave Castlevania it's own unique character before they decided to go with the boring mainstream anime style for DoS and PoR. At least the art is a little better in Order of Ecclesia.
