You people are eager to prove any of your stories to be true. But when a story has been proven to be false (like genesis) you suddenly tell us the story shouldn't be taken literally but symbolically. If this helps you people to keep believing in what you believe, fine, but then don't try pointing this out to nonbelievers because it's pointless.

meant to say SEcular...not "non-secular" study...these guys above are trying to tie thier faith inot what they see in thier studies...these Professors if they are PHD's know they are out on a limb when they are doing this -trying to show that it proves the Bible. There are just as many examples of Latter-Day Saints scholars who can do the same with the Book of Mormon. Yet, you have no interest in wanting to know the truth...only what YOU think is the Truth...as these guys in the clip think also.

You obviously have never REALLY studied Archaeology. Go do a SERIOUS non-secular study of it - then come back here and apologize for being so ignorant of the facts. Let me say it here....NOT ONE THING has EVER been tied to the bible via arcaelogical studies - it is just wishful thinking by those who try. Latter-Day Saints we are in the same boat as any other Christian fatih when it comes to PROOF...so to say otherwise is just a LIE or misinformation by that individual or individuals.

Mormons have had over 150 years to prove just one story from the B.O.M. and have come up empty while over the past 150 years, there are many archaeological discoveries that confirm the real Bible.

Just remmeber this when you attack the Book of Mormon archeology and say there is no proof. magicmanofsteel2000 - just think about it for a minute. This type of exclusionist prejudice is what causes all the interfaith problems on this planet. The best thing I can say about this is its just wrong. The worst, that it is actually very harmful to humankind's progress.
