leather gloves work realy well as long as its the heavey leather.
but i have a few quistions or morei have knves maid in germeny but i have a curved kive im not sure what kind of knife it is? i was hopeing you may know what it isalso dosent the grain go to the same way? Another quistion i have a dimond sharpening block is that alright to use? is Balsic wood alright to use you know the kind they make wood airplains out of? how long did it take you to be come so good at carveing?

Nice video! I started carving when I was about 8 yrs old with a pocket knife and I learned by experience what you spoke about at the beginning of the video. Very informative! Glove, leather apron, leather thumb finger guard good to consider for safety.

You can also get a glove with Spectra lining which is cut and stick resistant. Made by Hatch gloves. |
