In the past, the disorder was invariably fatal, whether due to dehydration, infection (sepsis), restricted breathing due to the plating, or other related causes. The most common cause of death was systemic infection and sufferers rarely survived for more than a few days. However, there have been improvements in care, most notably the drug Isotrex. Some patients have survived into adolescence and, in very rare cases, lived to adulthood

wtf. that's not a demon baby. that title isn't even funny. that's just an unfortunate little innocent life that had no control over how he was brought into this world. that baby will be going thru constant pain until his little body can't take it anymore. it's so sad.

how can you call that poor baby a demon baby? what the fuck is wrong with you? you realise that this baby which has no idea what is going on constantly feels its skin tightening, burning and drying up before cracking and bleeding to make way for the next layer of painful skin... its a fucking horrible condition to have you post it online for everyone to see?
yeh so maybe when you get hit by a bus and are comatose we'll post vids of you lying in bed the rest of your life covered in bedsores (Y)

i'm sorry but it's not a fake ! Nevlamas have explain on the 3rd page :
"this is called the "harlequin syndrome", because normally the face of the infected looks like a harlequin mask. It's syntomps are the missing of nose, ears and teeth, blood-balls instead of eyes, no hair, holes in the neck and - especially - a harded skin, like ceramic that is usually cracked at many places and pretty discusting. twohundred humans were born with this - one survived the first two weeks and is now 35."
