If you want to remove the incentive to retaliate, you need to realize that our foreign policy of mercantilistic warfare is an aggravating factor and the desire to do Americans harm is rooted in an interventionist foreign policy in which military dictators are our friends one day and we send them billions of tax dollars, and they are our enemies the next.
What you are ignoring is WHY terrorists want to do us harm.

The one thing that keeps me from supporting Ron Paul is this question: how will he keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of terrorists?

Also folks, look what the main stream media is doing to Ron Paul. It started out by ignoreing him until they couldnt, now they are starting misinformation and trying to paint him as the nutty oddball candidate.
