I'm curious...what is everyone's interpretation of lyrics? I think it is talking about those who standby and watch the injustices of the world happen and don't do anything to stop them when they really have the power to do so, such as when he says, "All that time she was silent still...if you love me, won't you let me know?" I think it's someone begging for someone to help or stop the injustices. "They were watching from the windows as we froze." This is just what I think. Anyone else?
