I have basically the same story, my mom had his tapes and we would listen to them in the car when we would take trips from Ohio up through Vermont and Canada. He has inspired me to continue in my leaning the piano.

i grew up listening to george..my mom had all his cassette tapes and we'd listen to them on my way 2 school everyday...not only does listening to this bring back childhood memories but memories from the very things hes playing about...truly a brilliant and talented man

i discovered him on 3mp radio, i used to wake up in the middle of the nite if this song started to play, how weird huh? havent heard it in ten years, but still makes me feel the same..very melancholy song, dont you think?
