Legend of the Atlikum Pole
Barry Scow, native carver from the Kwakwaka'wakw Nation, explains the legendary Atlikum Pole - a totem pole that tells the story of Kwakobalus, a native child. Estranged from his family, Kwakobalus embarks on a dangerous journey in the wilderness and meets a supernatural grouse who leads the child through a mysterious world of wild animals, dazzling masks and healing secrets.
