Music is unique in the way that it touches people and evokes emotion. I am a 58 year old man and I am totally in tears when I watch Paul sing this aria. I think it is about connecting with the emotion in his performance, his voice is an extension of his soul. My nephew took piano lessons, but he is a "clunker", no music comes out, he is just playing a memorized sequence. The fact that Paul came out of nowhere is amazing, was no one paying attention?
