And when it comes to darkskinned and lightskinned, well as someone earlier pointed out Eritrea has the whole spectrum. From pot black Kunamas to the arab white Raishaidas. Yet another important thing to know is that loving your country does not mean you must hate another. It's one thing to hate the TPLF-regime but to hate the ppl as a whole is just stupid. We are NOT Ethiopians but Ethiopians are still our neighbors and our brothers.

Even if you would want that, it would in that case only include the highlanders as the other half of the population has no historical connection with Abyssinnia at all (don't confuse Abyssinnia with the Axum kingdom which incl Abyssinnia and Medri Bahri or what we today call Eritrea) So my point is there is a name to indentify us all by and that is Eritrean. Use that and let the term Abyssinnia be used by those it genuinly include (mainly tigrinya amharinya speaking ppl in Ethiopia)

continued... Haile Selassie in his attempt to supress our Eritrean indentity he forced Eritreans to learn history as ut would fit him. And convince the Eritreans that they really are Ethiopians and SHOULD be ruled by masters in Shoa. Much like the way we in the diaspora learn that we africans SHOULD be ruled by the West. I'm sad to see such an amount of ignorance widespread amongst my fellow countrymen. Let me make a couple of things straight. First of all Eritreans are not Habeshas! I would say that no Eritrean is since no part of Eritrea has ever been a part of Abyssinnia, some parts (mainly the highlands) have however been oppressed and taxed by A. but never really regarded as a part odf A. The reason the term still exists in Eri-communities is mainly because
