This was in 1972. 20 years after being kicked out the country he so loved. love live chaplin we will always call you the king of comedy, and the greatest artist in film. we will always have a smile with him. rest in peace charlie. 1889(december 25 1977) films never will be the same without greatest as their once was. .

I'll be honest and say that I do not find Chaplin as funny as most, but none the less I have nothing but respect for him. He was a wonderful person with a brilliant mind and humble heart, and the world will never forget him and the joy that he's brought to so many generations of people.
