Demian Maia vs Rousimar Palhares would be a great match-up.

Palhares is a beast on the ground, look for him to rebound after his loss to Hendo and be a contender in the Middleweight division for a long time.
I wrote an article of upcoming UFC prospects and future contenders. I included Rousimar in the list. You can check the article out in my blog which is in my profile.

The loss didn't really hurt him, he looked incredible on the ground as always, and anybody that isn't an olympic level wrestler with great standup is going to get taken down and submitted by Toquinho, he even managed to take Hendo down a few times.

o estilo do toquinho paresse com o do paulo filho rapido e quedas sempre bem aplicadas

loving Toquinho, I see a bright future for him - really looking forward to the Henderson fight.

His stand up is good enough that if Hendo ignores it, He'll get hurt. He might not be a knockout king, but I've seen him setup takedowns with some strikes that CAN'T be ignored.

Not been watching MMA much, eh? His Olympic credentials mean little when you throw strikes into the mix.

Dude, we have roids tests here, and Palhares is a honest fighter, what we call "Cristian atlets", this guy is a hero. The american fans will love him. |
