sorry to pick on america, but they do use a lot of energy (food, petroleum products, water, etc). an american uses much more than any other person worldwide. followed by europeans. they over consumptions of energy rapes the planet (like raiding teh cookie jars without replacing it). this results in 'poverty' world wide.

just because kids from america eats burgers..does it mean kids from pakistan have to too?? just because kids in america drives big SUVs does it means kids from england have to too?? the moral of this discussions is, not to make assumptions of what standard of living people want, as their views advocated by cultural differences are likely to be very different from yours. if you really want to stop these things, read up on GANDHI and begin influencing the world. make love not war!!!

its hard to judge whats right and whats wrong for these kids. when i was younger i didnt enjoy school and always outside with my friends. who are people from the west to say that 'they're being denied education and childhood' when childhood can be from many ways and the way of life.

it's the country bloody goverment problem which ever president of prime minister comes they are so greedy themselves they put country into debt and only are the people of that country are the suffers of poverty

If these children enjoy the work they have to do, let them be, but if they dont enjoy it at all, we can help make a differance, every contribution helps! Child labour is a horrible thing to do, I would hate being tied to a rug loom, wouldnt you? Just think of what these children go through everyday, if you wouldn't like it to happen to you,think of these poor tortured children, stand up! You can help! The world is a cruel place, and with lots of help, we may be able to make a huge differance!!!!
