Gotcha. I'll read your comments with a Swedish accent in mind. Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15) All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense. (Leviticus 20:9) Proverbs has a similar quote which claims all who curse their mother or father will drop dead at nightfall. Deuteronomy 21:18-21 also says a stubborn or rebellious son should be STONED TO DEATH (with stones!) by all the men of his city.

What do you think Christianity is about? I've read the "bible" three times - the story about the guy who let a mob gang-rape his wife to death was disgusting. The claim that all MUST believe in "god" or they'll go to "hell" (both of which are unproven concepts which take advantage of people's fear of the unknown) is gross and manipulative. The claim that "Jesus" will return was clearly written that he would do so DURING THE LIFETIME OF HIS (then current-day) DISCIPLES. The "bible" is bunk.

Religion deserves NO respect. If you think you need to defend religion, that's YOUR problem. A religion that is honest, fair, and not steeped in false claims needs NO defense against people who deal in absolutes and intelligence. However, that's NOT what your religion is based on. It's based on deceit, unprovable concepts, threats of everlasting torture UPON DEATH, and theft of much older religious material. It is wholly and utterly a sham. Yuo should be embarrassed for falling for it.

What do you mean, "we?" Is more than one person using your account? I never stated all religious people are a waste of time. You're confused. YOU waste time with drivel, but that doesn't mean all religious people are useless. Most are simply confused because they were brainwashed into believing as children. Ever seen an adult talk about trauma suffered as a child and noticed their mannerisms revert back to the age they were when they were abused? Religion does the same thing. -cont-

You and I don't even speak the same language. I don't know how you use your "heart" to search for a non-existent entity. My heart just pumps blood. It amuses me that you think FACTS can somehow blind a person from your non-existent truth. The FACT is, the "bible" is a mess of inconsistencies and fairy tales. All of the miracles attributed to the character "Jesus" were ideas STOLEN from myths which were, in some cases, CENTURIES older. What you call TRUTH I call DELUSION. There is no "god."

flingurt, in fear of misunderstanding misquote by others, I'll need to state that pt 1 on Hebrews 9:27 is written with the knowledge of Christ as a seen evidence in the context. As for unclean animals (not just pigs. haha...) all other strict rules are abolished because these r kept b4 Christ to let us know it is impossible to be perfect sacrifice is needed for us to be redeemed. This is why Christ said "I'm here to fulfill the laws" when Pharisees accused him of not keeping them.

Flingurt, as for 1 Peter 3:19, this is my own opinion... 1) Hebrews 9:27 seems to imply there's no 2nd chance after death. 2) 1 Peter 3:20 mentioned these are those during the days of Noah only and not all who have died. My conclusion, perhaps like you said, possibly because they aren't guilty as never heard about Jesus just hearing about Messiah. However, based on my pt 2, I believe it was tat God had not appear to the world before the Great Flood since Israel wasn't chosen yet.
