Well this and as diamondfly was hypnotism. It took time and he couldn't force them to do anything bad. With the gold helm he could turn the T-cats in to his servents in an instant.

Yes, his methods are a little strange - and he's a pretty big drama queen complaining about not being able to control the Thundercats indefinitely when he doesn't seem to know about his powers! ;D

Lol and in the Queen of 8 Legs episode he simply transforms into a diamond fly and is able to control Lion-O as well!

Funny thing an episode before Mumm-Ra had to get an incredibly powerful device like the golden helmdet to control minds when he uses that pendant now...^^
