I have baby twist and i've gotten them done about a month ago. the first week they were done they were real neat. i could see the parts in my head. But then, after covering them and laying on them the became really messy and some had even gotten loose. So, i had watched your video and seen how neat and tight your interlock method is and i've gotten my mother to help me out. thank you so much.

Usually as you hair matures, the loc will pull the hair into the loc. If the hair is at the base of the loc(near the scalp), you can wrap it around the new growth and then interlock it when you tighten your hair. If your locs are mature and the stray hair are long and towards the middle or end of the loc, I trim them.

i interlock my hair too,but what do u do with the lose hair when it grow outside of the locs

That is great! You can start the interloc at any length. I recently took down a few locs and restarted them. My hair grew over six inches sincw I locked 11mo ago. I tighten my locks every two weeks after I shampoo. I discovered that my locs form better with less manipulation. Use shampoo with no conditioners it it! They will slip and unravel! I use organic shampoos: Knotty boy dread soap and BWC rosemary, mint,tea tree shampoo. I use Jane Carter`s leave in conditiner. Have a blessed journey!
